DEAD TO SIN

Romans 6:10-9, 12-14 MSG

Could it be any clearer? Our old way of life was nailed to the cross with Christ, a decisive end to that sin-miserable life—no longer at sin’s every beck and call! What we believe is this: If we get included in Christ’s sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. We know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word. When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive he brings God down to us. From now on, think of it this way: Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. You are dead to sin and alive to God. That’s what Jesus did. That means you must not give sin a vote in the way you conduct your lives. Don’t give it the time of day. Don’t even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life. Throw yourselves wholeheartedly and full-time—remember, you’ve been raised from the dead!—into God’s way of doing things. Sin can’t tell you how to live. After all, you’re not living under that old tyranny any longer. You’re living in the freedom of God.

The Church Syndrome

Brethren ,

Being in church does not guarantee that you are born again.

You need to come to the realization that Jesus is the Son of God and that he was sent by God to come and die for our sins.

John 3:16 attest of this tender love God had and thus He gave His only begotten son.

2Cor 5:21 further stipulates this;
'For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made
right with God through Christ.'

It was a dear price. Isaiah 53:10 ; 'Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his
soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the
LORD shall prosper in his hand. '

He did it to prove that He is love. And to ensure that you do not miss eternal life. The glorious life with which he has bestowed us with.

All you need to do is to believe in your heart and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! You have now joined the Jesus club. Halleluyah!

Romans 10:9 says ;If you declare with your mouth,
"Jesus is Lord," and believe in
your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be
saved.

Take a step of faith and enter into the rest of God.
Is it that simple? Yes my dear it is very simple!
